Japanet was established in 1986 as a mail-order business and has ventured into sports, regional revitalization, and media through a broadcast network. The company holds a philosophy of spreading joy and excitement in day to day life, and pride in local communities through the promotion of accessible and enriching experiences.
Our cruise business which started in 2017 exemplifies this approach. To date, we have chartered over 30 cruises with over 100,000 passengers around Japan, subsequently becoming the industry leader in Japan. We accomplished this through our process of discovering, refining, and conveying the authenticity of our products, making a difference in the lives of our customers and the invigorating the local communities we visit at our ports of call.

With our core values in hand, the Japanet Group established Japanet America in May 2023, and obtained Seller of Travel licenses in December of the same year to deliver the Japanet style of hospitality to a new market.
