This was actually my second time on a Japanet Cruise. Every corner of the ship felt extraordinary, filled with beauty and sophistication.
The deciding factors for choosing Japanet Cruise were the convenient shuttle bus, no need to tip, and most importantly, the all-you-can-drink option. Now I can't imagine anything other than free drinks.
There were lots of events, and I was able to find things I wanted to do, starting with dance lessons. I had so much fun that I didn't have a single moment of boredom!
For the second half of the trip, I exercised by the pool and spent some time relaxing.
The ship was also clean and comfortable.
I first came across this cruise through traveler reviews on YouTube.
A journey around Japan that felt both well-organized and accessible immediately caught my attention, and I chose to join the final sailing of autumn 2025.
From the very beginning, the experience stood out for its clarity and ease.
With drinks and gratuities already included, and a simple pay-only-if-you-exceed system for beverages, everything felt refreshingly transparent—ideal even for guests new to cruising.
The ship itself is Italian, and dining onboard proved to be one of the great pleasures of the journey.
From freshly prepared pizza to mozzarella made onboard, the quality and care put into each meal were evident.
A spacious buffet offered a wide variety of choices, while seafood dishes, including lobster, were served generously.
With all meals and beverages included, the overall value of the experience was unmistakable.
The atmosphere onboard was wonderfully balanced.
Younger travelers made smart use of the affordable interior cabins, spending most of their time enjoying the ship’s many daily activities.
At the same time, many senior couples traveled comfortably, supported by attentive staff and thoughtful accommodations for guests using wheelchairs.
I had once assumed that cruising around Japan was reserved for a select few.
This journey changed that perception, revealing a style of travel that feels welcoming, inclusive, and surprisingly approachable.
At each port of call, shore excursions were smoothly organized, with professional bus staff and knowledgeable guides.
Being able to explore each destination without worrying about luggage—left safely in the cabin—was especially appreciated.
From embarkation to disembarkation, the entire journey was handled with efficiency and care.
With engaging events offered daily onboard, there was always something to enjoy.
Traveling as a couple, we found this cruise to be both relaxing and enriching—a memorable way to experience Japan from the sea.

Yes. All MSC staff speak English, while some Japanet staff can also communicate in English.
An English-speaking guide will accompany you on all shore excursions during your trip.
Flights are not included. This tour departs from and returns to Japan, so please arrange your flights independently. If you need assistance with flight arrangements, please contact us.

While at sea, there is no mobile signal or internet connection. A paid internet service is available;
if you would like to use it, please sign up on board.
Onboard clinic is available for all guests. English-speaking doctors and nurses are on board. Medical treatment is subject to a fee.

Breakfast, lunch, and the buffet restaurant are available at your preferred time.
To avoid overcrowding, dinner times and seating are assigned for each stateroom in the main restaurant only.

Voltages in guest rooms are 110V and 220V.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your disembarkation date.
A passport with one of the following expiration dates or later is required for each tour date:
- For the tour starting October 15, 2026, your passport must be valid beyond April 25, 2027 (Sunday).
- For the tour starting November 2, 2026, the passport must be valid after May 12, 2027 (Wednesday).
Children must be at least 2 years old on the date of boarding to join the cruise. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and complete a consent form, which will be provided to you.
